Sardinian Job Day da record: oltre 28.000 alla fiera per la due giorni dedicata al lavoro
Cagliari, January 25, 2019 – The final outcome of the Sardinian Job Day was overwhelmingly positive and far exceeded expectations: there were 28,400 participants, including approximately 10,000 candidates who interviewed with the 300 accredited companies over the course of the two-day event.
Many visitors were drawn by sessions featuring guest speakers and international guests, as well as by the more than 100 seminars aimed primarily—though not exclusively—at young students.“They were two wonderful days,” declared Aspal Director General Massimo Temussi. We are very pleased with the high level of public participation and the thousands of opportunities for interaction between businesses and citizens that we have managed to create. We have mobilized economic and institutional stakeholders on a large scale, creating job opportunities and restoring confidence in the future for thousands of people. This is what makes us happiest and encourages us to do ever more—putting in our usual dedication and strength—so that every day can be a “Job Day.” We are now preparing to face the upcoming challenges, strengthened by the teamwork we have accomplished. For this, I would like to thank the entire ASPAL—a fine organization that, despite being relatively young, boasts a team of capable and motivated individuals. And I thank the many young people, companies, unemployed individuals, and visitors over these two days. Without them, the job fair would not have existed. Now, the next appointment is set for 2020.”
